The Beaches Art School
All Ages • All Levels • All Welcome
The Beaches Art School is an Art Studio in Mona Vale, Northern Beaches. Art Classes are run by Artist and teacher Lisa Williams.
After growing up on the Northern Beaches, Lisa moved to America to study painting and received her Fine Arts degree in 2011. She has been painting almost daily ever since and is passionate about sharing her knowledge.
The Beaches Art School aims to create a welcoming and supportive space for people of all ages and experience levels. There is always something new to learn and discover in art and during the classes students can explore their artistic potential and have fun in the process.
Adult Classes run Monday to Friday, with day and evening options and are suitable for absolute beginners to advanced. Classes run all year and new students can start anytime.
Children and Teen Classes run after school on Monday, Thursday, Friday and fortnightly on Saturday mornings. The starting time for After School Art is flexible so students from schools all over The Beaches have the opportunity to attend.
Classes are for all ages, all levels and all are welcome.
The Art School began during COVID lockdown in 2020, at a time where many people realised their love for art, or rediscovered it after many years. During this time, the importance of community was heightened and because of this, The Beaches Art School strives to create a strong sense of community with a “everybody’s welcome” attitude.
The classes provide the opportunity to explore different mediums, subjects and new techniques throughout the year. Students are guided through the artistic process and encouraged while they develop their new art skills.
With the support of the five amazing students who started with Lisa in 2020, and all the wonderful students who have come and painted over the past few years, The Beaches Art School has grown to be able to provide quality and fun art classes six days a week where new faces are welcomed regularly.
“I feel so lucky that I am able to teach each day the skills needed to paint, and I'm so grateful for all the students who allow me to be part of their week.”
- Lisa
